Alex Tizon

Tomas Alex Tizon is a Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist,[1] a former national correspondent for the Los Angeles Times and long-time staff writer for The Seattle Times.[2] He has contributed to Newsweek and 60 Minutes,[2] and he has lectured at Harvard University,[2] the University of California, Berkeley and the University of Washington. Tizon studied at Stanford University and the University of Oregon.[2]

In 1997, he and two colleagues won the Pulitzer Prize for Investigative Reporting.[1] Tizon is one of only three Philippine-born journalists who has won a Pulitzer.
